FAQ

Just like any other online shop. Choose what you want and add it to your basket. You can choose from pre-organised menus or take individual dishes.

If you book in advance of your stay, we will need your day of arrival and your address. Our aim is to have everything in place before you arrive. If you order once you're in the valley, simply choose one of our delivery slots when you finalise your order on the website.

We only accept credit card payments directly on our website (using Stripe). We do not accept cash payments.

You can order 24/7 from our online shop. We deliver to Châtel, La Chapelle d'abondance, Abondance, Bonnevaux, Le Corbier, Le Biot, Saint Jean d'Aulps, Montriond, Morzine and Les Gets. Our delivery times vary depending on the location, but will be between 8am and 6pm daily. Our kitchen is located in Châtel (1674 route du petit châtel) and is also open for our click-and-collect service during our opening hours (8am - 5.30pm), with an extension on Saturdays in season for late arrivals.

Once the order has been placed and prepared, we'll deliver straight to your door. Everything will arrive frozen and ready to reheat in the oven or microwave. If you have ordered before you leave, we will arrange for your order to be ready for the day you arrive. Please provide us with as much information as possible so that we can work efficiently (day and time of arrival, exact address, complete and up-to-date contact details, etc.).

The delivery rate will depend on the station you live in, will include a minimum order value, and will offer you the delivery slots available. We deliver until 6pm, and your slot will be confirmed according to availability. Your details must be complete and correct, and delivery must be accepted in person. We will only try to contact you once. If no-one is available to accept the order, our driver will leave with it, and you will have to collect it from our "Click & Collect" point during our opening hours and within the validity of your dishes.

No, you can order until 2pm for delivery the following day.

Don't hesitate to contact us directly by telephone for a same-day order, depending on our stock levels.

We sometimes offer promotional codes via our partners (for example if you are staying at Chalets Bovard) with whom we collaborate or on the occasion of special promotions. You can enter your code when you finalise your order in the field that says "Promo Code".

You cannot change or modify your order online, but if you need to make a change you can email us directly at contact@peakeat.fr, no later than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery. Any request made less than a week in advance must have the same value or be greater than the amount of the initial order.

You can cancel your order and receive a full refund if the cancellation is made at least 21 days before delivery. After this time, we will no longer be able to refund you as our products will already have been processed and prepared for you.

We deliver daily in season between 8am and 6pm - delivery times depend on the delivery location. We wouldn't want to deprive you of your holiday time. We will ask you to select a time slot when you complete your order online. We will need the address where you will be staying during your stay and as much information as possible to help us serve you better! Please bear in mind that weather and traffic may affect our arrival time.

All orders are placed via our online shop. If you encounter any difficulties with the site, please contact us on +33 (0)632 176 417 or by email contact@peakeat.fr to talk to our team.

We're Meg and Yannick, a couple from Morzine (she) and Châtel (he). We love everything about our mountains: the skiing, the mountains, the people and especially the food! Our dishes are a collection of hearty, warm and tasty recipes prepared with quality ingredients and a lot of love. We've taken various training courses with chefs for the techniques and know-how, and with our mothers and grandmothers for the recipes, because we really want to offer our customers a complete experience of our terroir/mountains, from the summits to their plates (as our slogan so aptly puts it). Our customers can enjoy mountain activities and then meet up for a hearty meal in good company after a hard day's work! It's the local way of life that we both experienced as children, and that we want to share with our customers. We've also been trained by certified professionals in all the hygiene standards for our kitchen laboratory, our dishes and their delivery.

We ensure that our dishes are packaged in such a way as to be delivered to you in the best possible condition.

Frozen products will be refrigerated during transport and should be placed in your fridge and/or freezer as soon as you receive them. You can keep frozen dishes in your fridge for 48 to 72 hours depending on the product.

Some side dishes are a selection of freshly packed items. These batches should be stored or refrigerated as you would any supermarket product.

We set out to create the best vegetarian menus in the Alps, and we think we've done pretty well. You'll find dishes like vegiflette and vegetarian lasagne. Who says you can't eat healthy vegetarian in the Alps? Please note that we don't have separate areas in the kitchen so we can't claim vegan certification.

The vast majority of accommodation in the French Alps has only a small freezer. But don't worry! Our dishes can stay in the fridge for 48 to 72 hours without any problem. If you have a freezer, you can order as much as you like. On the other hand, if you only have access to a fridge, you can always order food for two or three days.

If you would like a second delivery in the middle of the week, please let us know and we will arrange with you how you would like the order to be split.

Please also check whether the kitchen has either an oven or a microwave. Please note that some accommodation only provides one or the other, but not always both. Sometimes the microwave is a combination microwave. This means that dishes intended to be reheated in the oven will not heat up properly and that dishes with more than two parts will be too large for a combination oven.

When ordering a dish, please check your kitchen equipment. All our dishes have a microwave and/or oven symbol in the description. We also have a handy filter tool in the column on the left of the site.
